ACT OF FAITH FOUNDATION

Faith in Every Step. Strength in Every Play. Hope in Every Lesson

Ulysses Benitez

My name is Ulysses Benitez, and I’m a founder of Act of Faith Foundation together with my wife. I’m a barber by trade, but giving back has always been at the heart of who I am.

I grew up in a tough part of Stockton, California—where opportunities were limited and hope wasn’t always easy to find. But I also saw what a difference small acts of kindness could make. A haircut. A hot meal. A genuine conversation. Those simple things could spark confidence, open doors, and even change someone’s life.

That’s why I started Act of Faith Foundation. This nonprofit is my way of serving the community that raised me. Through outreach, mentorship, and direct support, we aim to uplift individuals and families who are struggling, especially those impacted by poverty, violence, or homelessness. It’s about meeting people where they are—with respect, compassion, and a little faith.

This work is personal to me, and it’s powered by the belief that no matter where you come from, you deserve dignity, opportunity, and a chance to thrive.

EvetteXO

My name is Evette Garcia, and I’m the proud founder of Act of Faith Foundation.

I was born and raised in Stockton, California—a city that taught me grit, faith, and the importance of never giving up. Growing up in a tough environment came with its challenges, but it also shaped who I am today: a wife, a mother of three, an influencer, the CEO of EXO Cosmetics—and most importantly, someone who is deeply passionate about giving back.

Following my dreams hasn’t always been easy, but staying rooted in faith and driven by purpose has brought me to a place where I can now help others do the same. Act of Faith Foundation was created from my desire to serve those in need—whether that means providing essentials, spreading hope, or simply showing up for people when they need it most.

Through this foundation, I want to be a light for others just like others were for me. Because when we lead with love, live with purpose, and act in faith, we can make a real difference—one life at a time.
